How would you compare deer numbers between central Coleman (250ac) county and the SW corner of Stephens (320ac) county?

Check with game wardens in each area for opinion and compare. SE Stephens County not many deer
numbers IMO. Been a long time since being in central Coleman but I'd bet Coleman has more deer numbers.

I wouldnt be qualified to answer very definitively but my guess would be Coleman would have potential to have a little more. However, if you are talking about a specific property then it could easily be impossible to generalize. Some things, especially if small property, would be sight specific and depend on land use, habitat etc. I would add that either would likely have high enough numbers to satisfy most anyone, and possibly too many.

I usually correspond in advance with people who live in the regions of interest to me. And yes, the last time Coleman had more deer

Yep, Coleman has more deer county to county comparison but that doesn’t mean the property you’re looking at in Coleman has more deer than Stephens.......

On land that small, your neighbors have more to do with deer numbers than where it's located. I'd pick the one with the biggest and best neighbors.
