Also plenty made with much simpler way called using your brain and not near as much work......Exxon/Mobil, Chevron and Disney are examples looking at them now from their March lows.....

I'm sure those companies are on Powell's screen to buy. That works, until it doesn't

Until it doesn't you can watch every one else make money.........how's that working for you DannyB? roflmao

Anybody been watching Chesapeake stock? Its about the most neurotic effin stock I think I've ever seen in my life. No wonder their founder/CEO killed himself.

As Ox would say, bank statement. I'm all for a healthy economy and I want it, however it's not healthy right now and I don't think what you see is a bunch of retail investors. It's mostly quants, trading houses, etc. trying to make short term bucks. Unfortunately, the market will read the right temperature at some point and then maybe we can start to make it healthy again, but layoffs aren't done, Q2 numbers aren't reported, and how can we be so close to the Feb highs if everyone is saying we won't reach FY19Q4 GDP until FY22Q3?

Don't know that we will skim the lows of mid-March again, but I would be nimble if you're going to buy in the market today and need the money within the next 5 years.

The NASDAQ has already surpassed Feb highs...New all time high today.

Yep, I never said it would stop going up, just saying to be quick on your toes because it won't keep up this pace.

I contacted Marc a few days ago about paying up on our bet and he asked me to donate the money to Hudson's education ( https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/7864752/hudson#Post7864752 ). I'll be getting in touch with them and getting a check sent to the family.

Well done Marc!

Market scared of that second wave, we are going to see a jump in numbers with everything that has been going on.

This ain't blood bath. This is the stock market holding congress hostage for another stimulus bill/package. Still zero talk about 2Q earnings or unemployment rates....that'll be the bloodbath, IF it happens.

Naw, this is the big boy Day Traders telling everybody the v has hit a couple days ago, getting the egghead public jumping back in then selling and dragging the profits last night. They will be buying tomorrow or next and the elevator will go up again.

Im not surprised at all. The guy that I listen to on this stuff has been very surprised its kept oooching up like it has. Didnt think it would go down this fast but figured it was past due. Conservatively betting on the slow climb back up over time.

Pull backs are a normal reaction to bear market cycles breaking resistance....... until good news dominates bad, we will continue to see some bad days..........some will look at them as opportunities........most will sit and watch and wait to be right or wrong about what they think is going to happen.....
