My wife's 13 year old beagle died last month. She's ready to move on now. Her birthday is coming up next week, and I'm looking into getting her a puppy. The last one was a rescue, I've never dealt with a breeder before.

Not trying to hijack but I am watching for a beagle also. Have been looking around on the internet, seems to be a lot more of them on the market when you go east. If somebody knows a good place around here to get one I'm all ears. No big hurry, don't care about papers, just want a male beagle pup with his balls still attached.

Lol, I've seen some for $1500 but you cant breed them..... for that kind of money I think it should be my choice.....

There out there without the price tag. I got a nice, purebred, tri for $300. I went to get a lemon but the little tri changed my mind when I got there.

I’m thinking the ex found it on a Facebook page. I really don’t know much more than that. It was 5-6 years ago.

My beagle is 12 this year.... I fear her time is not far off. My parents got her as a graduation gift for me at a dog show in Universal City, the actual breeders were not local, from Alabama I think, but I do not have any of their info.

My Beagle was free and I still paid way to damn much! Beautiful loving dog but hard headed as anything I have ever seen!! Never again!!! Save yourself and choose another breed!!!!

Our neighbor renamed his Stubborn, sometimes the dog also had a second name, then he called it Stubborn SOB.

Our neighbors had 4 to 14 beagles @ a time. Loud rascals when they were "singing"! Dad & them were steady at it.

Ours would go out in the yard and start barking just to 'Could not stand being clean. After my wife would work with her in the shower, the dog would immediately run out in the yard and desperately try to find something dead to roll in.

The wife loved her bailey for 13 yrs. She wants another one, so she gets another one. For the record, I hated her dog.

Same thing Justin with my treeing walker coonhound..she's a female and she sure is a bitch .but I wouldn't take a million dollars for her..but WOULD NOT GIVE A NICKLE for another one..she's a hurricane,tornado and riot wrap up in a year old 80 lb body. Yes 80 lbs!

My wife's dog was 65 pounds at his heaviest. He would eat whole loaves of bread, if we slipped up and left one on the counter. Thirty six count of tortillas gone. Casserole gone. Banana bread gone. He was a pain in the a$$! But she loved that damn dog.
