We’re putting together a shoot centerfire nothing over 30 caliber.
Saturday June 27th. 500 yard tournament style shooting match double elimination. starts at 8 a.m. be here early. $30 per person 50% payback. Match will be shot prone unless physically unable to , then you can use a bench. We are only taking 16 shooters so let me know if you are coming so I can get a head count .
We will be shooting at three different size targets first is an 8-inch Target for one point next is a 6-inch Target for two points and the last is a 4 inch Target for three points. Object is to score more points then the guy you are shooting against in five shots
Front bipod and rear sandbag, location in valley view Texas Any shade for spectators to set in and watch the match?

I see in your first post here, bipod and rear bag. Are bags at both ends and no bipod acceptable? Sorry I forgot to answer this Gary. Bag in back and bag in front is fine. Just no mechanical rest or any kind of rest under the rifle.

I was shooting with senior on Sunday and he said that at the 500-yard match the shooter can choose whether he wants to shoot prone or from the bench it is there choice. That is the new official rule for that.

Yes I can’t edit the first post but this is official rule change. Shooter choice bench or prone.

I'm not bragging but I think I'm ready for Saturday. First 3 cold barrel shots from practice this morning. Dashes on target show 6 and 8" targets. If you want to use Auto have at it. Only specification is no calibers larger than 30cal.

Not sure I’m reading the dashes correctly....how would that score on the match targets? Looks like he got all three, so a total of 6 pts (3,2,1 left to right if that right one caught the edge of the 8").
