Stopped a couple of weeks ago and bought a bushel of sweet potatoes for the wife, she uses them in her baking during the winter.

Talking to the farmer he said hogs love them and he gave me 2 bushels of them that were going bad as he could not sell them. Well the hogs have been walking over and around them to get at the corn in the trap.

Sure glad they were free. I put some in the freezer, will try them during the holidays when the hogs are in a festive mood.

Mix a little brown sugar and butter for them. No one likes a plain potato.

I think the farmer meant that sweet potatoes go good with pork especially ham 😋😍😁. And YES on the butter and brown sugar.
