....ol lady neighbor known as Ol B**** by peeps in my hood. She’s next door to me on 3 landscaped acres that’s fenced on three sides. I live on 5ac as most do around here
There are tons of deer....she HATES deer. Ever since her hubby died she spends all her time trying to keep deer off her property by walking around constantly clapping hands and scaring em off....
So today me and miss lady friend sitting on my deck and the ol B comes out going nuts running deer off. Doe are dropping babies everywhere. A probably hours old baby runs into fence and breaks it’s neck. Miss lady friend(an attorney)calls game GW for harassment of wildlife or so she thought. GW comes out and does nothing basically except telling her if she doesn’t like the deer on her property to HF her property....I see where’s he’s coming from but didn’t set well with miss lady friend...claims she’s gonna check into doing something legally.
Geezzzzzzzz I been dealing with this Ol B for several years on other things....

Yep....jus pizzes me off. Forced me to have couple more vodkas after dinner to calm down. Miss lady friend was livid but after a bottle of wine and dinner she crashed. Ol B is lucky. Miss lady friend has a vicious tongue.... this ain’t over for her.

Buy her out then you'll have 8 acres.

She needs to buy some deer repellant from a gardening store/ section.

The problem I see is “miss lady friend.” Deer will be fine. IMHO

Have a feeder behind my house....but deer love her landscaped morsels. I simply don’t understand why she doesn’t fence the deer out. I’ve had that discussion with her like GW did. She is adamant she’s not doing that.
She hates all animals and kids. Many issues with several other neighbors. Ol B known to chunk rocks at kids walking on the street
Her husband was a great guy and kept her in check I guess. . I’ve fished with him and drank beer at VFW together. He was a phantom driver in Vietnam with several confirmed kills. He always stated she was a B....I miss him but pizzed at him for leaving me to deal with the ol B

Living where ther are more deer per acre than where I hunt, it is easy to see she is creating a problem so she can be perturbed. Landscape appropriately and her issues go away. Likely to be replaced by others.

Just to add....I could care less about her clapping and doing other things to run deer off...it’s a freaking game. The deer play ring around the house with her
But when she starts spooking the babies that are on her property and they panic and run into fence and break their necks...sorry but that’s way overboard for me and many others around here. Not first time it’s happened. She got jammed up couple years ago for having 2 fawns in her trash can. Trash service people called on her....

I have a s***load of deer at my house also. Working on fencing off the backyard so we can have some nice landscaping. The deer eat just about everything, including grazing on what little St. Augustine I have left. My wife chases them off of the good grass occasionally. But even though we don’t like the heavy population, in no way do we condone harassing the fawns. I don’t like loose dogs chasing them either.
