You really should tread down the nest after you spray them. The one just left of the corner is a red wasp nest. The others are mud daubers. I hate those things. One of the joys of having a pond in my back yard. These are to high for me to tear down without a stepladder. I no longer do stepladders. Plan to call the man with a pressure washer when the season is over.



I'm not particular about wasp spray. I went with this one because its the only one HEB stocked.

They’re bad this year. I bombed about 10-12 nests at the ranch house last weekend. Normally it would be 2-3.

I don't even warm it up. I put water in a big plastic cup first, then stir in dish washing liquid. It doesn't foam up that way. Dash it on them and bug out, literally.

Leave yourself an out. They don't just instantly drop dead like with the sprays, but kills them all. However, I don't have to worry about leaving a film on anything or damaging a finish.

I sprayed some Berryman's in the boat tongue to kill some yellow jackets. One flew out and up over the high line wires. I've never seen one that high up in the air. I think it then blew up like the mosquito Tobasco commercial.

A small metal coffee can and gasoline was wasp spray when I was a kid.

Last time I fueled it was early March, she’s been driving again for the last few weeks

This. I have a liquid detergent squeeze bottle. It also worked well to get the bees out of a tree that fell last week.

I got a nest of red wasps inside the drivers' side mirror of my truck. Between the back of the mirror and the housing. I may try the dishwashing soap and water thing.

I can tell something that does NOT work, and that’s a light up Star Wars sword I tried on a big ol nest when I was 4.

I got hit on the back of my head once, all I heard was 'Bzzzzz SMACK!!! " knocked my head forward, and hurt like heck.

What is a wasp purpose in life, other than inflict pain?

Benadryl cream will give you some relief form the sting. I use the HEB private label.



Keep one tube in my bathroom and another in my Gator.
