I have a bunch of whitetail skulls laying around on the floors and shelves of my house and am looking on a simple, affordable, a good looking way to hang them on the wall. Home made or store bought is fine with me but I have about 15 that need to be hung so like I said cost effectiveness is important. Any pictures would be awesome help. Thanks y’all.

Just go to Academy or a taxidermist and ask for a bunch of euro plaques...

Sawzall the skull plates and screw them on to old barn wood, driftwood, etc. with 2 brass, slotted (not Phillips) screws each. (Pre-drill your holes.) Picture hanger on the back of the wood.

Here are a few of mine. I use low cost cedar from Home depot. I cut 3 master boards and use these as templets. I use a wooden dowel epoxied in spinal hole. I have mounted about 2o with this process. All simple tools by hand drill and hand saw and sander

Go to your local lake and look around the shoreline for some drift wood (boards) and hang them on those.

Horseshoe style, perhaps?

Also, what a rabbit-hole of euro mounts. They're doing some cool stuff these days that I hadn't really thought about.

I use wire to loop through the back, then all you need is a nail, you then to stack along the well pretty close together.

We use hooks like these on our antelope and deer skulls. They hold them just fine, you may have to adjust the ring opening though. Get big enough to screw well into the wall stud.

I've purchased several nice mounts from https://www.taxidermistwoodshop.com/ based out of Wichita Falls. Good quality and selection, reasonable prices, and quick shipping.

Here is what I did with most of mine I had laying on the floor in the house. Put them up in the barn and had done this before with bucks I found dead after the rut or sheds I had mounted on a ranch I managed.

Odd angle but yes, the plaque bottom/tip actually makes it to the middle. I had a notion to put a freeze dried rattlebug there but decided against it.

OK, that looks GREAT, what a neat idea! I don't have enough skull mounts to do that but will save this picture as inspiration!
