I know there have been many posts about this whole thing - his prior record, police brutality, BLM, riots, marches and on and on. I turned on the TV to catch Dana Perino on Fox and they had the live "Memorial" service from MN. It was a total media play and did nothing to to allow him to rest in peace. When the State prosecutor and Big "Al" spoke I just turned it off. They are the ones feeding hate, anarchy and civil disobedience. I am not prone to judge anyone by their skin color, background or even religion (although I will do my best to speak the Truth of the Gospel). America is hurting, not since likes of Vietnam and the Civil Rights movement of 1968. Grace, Peace and Love will be the attitudes we need. Rant over.

Is Al using a walker yet? Dude's pitiful.

Never been a big fan of Houston, but always respected it. Man, I hope they don't burn it down next week.

Kinda off topic but did anyone see Floyd’s 6yo daughter being held on her relatives shoulder the other day saying she loved her daddy and that he changed the world. I personally got bad vibe from that. I would hope my family would make sure my daughter would be shielded from all that and not used as somewhat of a prop. I may be wrong but what does a 6yo know about changing the world. She just said what she was coached to say. No way I would want a child of mine put in that kind of spotlight. Jmo

Serious question.

Currently there is no sports, music or entertainment venues, theme parks operating a full bore.

With the exceptions of those most impacted by the looting, how long before the public forgets his name?

First NFL game?

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

Not to make light of Floyd's death on May 25th, but that weekend there were 40 people shot with 10 killed in Chicago. There have been 191 people killed there in 2020 with over 300 Black People killed in the last 365 days. I agree the cop was in the wrong and needs to answer for what he did, but ignoring the constant black on black killing needs to be addressed. If any good can come out of this, maybe the respect of other peoples lives will be it. What the reverend Al was spewing was nothing to hate and trying to stir up trouble. And yes I use the word reverend very loosely. Praying for he Floyd family and our country.

He has a plan. I'm sticking with the Lord.

Halfdozen that's precisely the problem. Too many people have turned away from our Savior. We all know that God is the only way to fix this and we need Him more than ever!

Making martyrs of crooks and lowlifes. It’s the liberal way
The cop that kneeled on him is guilty, needs prosecuting. But the guy was still not someone to memorialize on a national scale.
