Me and the family went to visit my Dad this last weekend.
Cooked up some steak, sausage, stuffed jalapeños,squash/zucchini,beans,and olive bread.
Pretty good eating.

Not an olive fan, but thinking that bread would be good with jalapeños instead of olives?? What’s the recipe for the olive bread, would be an easy swap of olives for jalapeños. Thanks P.S. Everything else looks outstanding my friend!!!!!!

I love olives, but thought it would be great with either jalapeños or roasted green chili.

1 stick of butter room temp
1/2 cup mayo
1 small onion finely diced
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 6oz jar sliced green olives drained
1 7oz can sliced black olives drained
1 loaf French bread

Mix room temp butter with mayo.
Stir in onion, garlic,Italian seasoning mix some more.
Stir in drained olives and cheese, mix good.
Cut French bread in half
Evenly spread mixture on both halves
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes

I’m like you, I think it would be great to substitute the olives for peppers, but it is really tasty with the olives.
