I'm trying to convert everything from gas or electric to battery. Would really like your opinions on edgers . My biggest concern is if it will be powerful enough.

I have a 40Volt Ryobi that is my edger, weed eater and blower. I have a big yard and can weed eat front and back, edge the front and blow it off with one battery. The different implements swap onto the single power head. Run the weed eater about 20 minutes total, edger about 15 minutes, and blower about 5 minutes. The edger is not as powerful as the when I used a 2 stroke gas power head but it gets the job done just fine. This is my second year using battery powered, I would not go back.

Same here. You can take it to the bank.

I later added a 14 inch chainsaw which used the same battery. I now have two batteries. The good thing about the battery is that it does not lose power as the battery drains. It. Simply stops a couple of times.
