Came across this link this morning.

During the Salute to Veterans Discount Program the existing blue label qualifications are extended to any honorably discharged, active or retired veteran. You are eligible to purchase one Blue Label pistol through our LE Distributors or Sub-D Dealers from Memorial Day to Veterans Day. A copy of your DD 214 and valid driver’s license can be used as credentials at a local blue label supplier found using the dealer locator (https://us.glock.com/en/dealer-locator-usa) and your zip code.

Is this new or has the program changed over the years? I bought a Blue Label G20SF in 2012 as part of the program with my active duty ID. IIRC, the listed beneficiaries is no different than what I remember back then. Sounds like they may have slimmed down the eligibles for the standard program?

I believe it's normally only active duty military and active first responders.

Click on the link. All the details are there.

Blue Label Program normally is only available to the following...

* Sworn Law Enforcement officers
* EMT, Fire Fighters, Volunteer Fire Fighters, and Paramedics
* Military personnel including Reservists and National Guard
* Corrections Officers, including Parole and Probation Officers
* State Licensed Security Companies
* Court Judges
* LE Academy Cadets with enrollment documentation from the Academy
* GSSF Coupon Recipients

They have extended this benefit to "Honorably Discharged Veterans" from Memorial Day to Veterans Day.

When I separated active duty and became a reservist I was told I needed to be Active duty. Of course the person could've been misinformed or the rule changed just recently.

What are some local (Frisco/Dallas) Blue Gun distributors?

All guns or just Glock?

Texas Gun Experience is one, called them today and confirmed they have BL guns in stock and they are participating (veterans).

You’ll be lucky if they have any right now. We have a few officers that are on a waiting list for the common Glocks, I believe they were told 1-3 months.

They may have picked up a lot more orders since DSG isn't a blue label dealer anymore.

Looks around $75-$100.

I really like the size of the 42. Anyone have experience?
