Was just talking to the wife, as I poured the wine (drinking to Oxner today, just because), and she mentioned some ranch work we had done. It occurred to us at about the same time that all the sh__ jobs we had both been avoiding are all done. It wouldn’t have happened if we weren’t staying at home. I even changed the lube in the 3 point tiller and shredder. Changed fluids in everything that has fluids. Put new line in all fishing gear. Reloaded ammo. Fished a bunch. Put new carbs on everything that wasn’t running well. Fished some more. Worked on the water well. Cut up a bunch of trees on fences. Shined up the boat. Filled the bird feeders as needed. Finished all the low water crossings. And on and on...

Now...open up the world and cut me loose...

In some cases, but not all. I still get out every other day to go walk, same as before all of this started. But getting stuff at the hardware store and lumberyard has stopped, not so much because of the virus, but because I have gotten lazy. Or should I say lazier??? clap

You and your beautiful wife could always bring your chainsaws and get some free pecan wood.

We could have a on test on cordless.

Slow down there kimosabe. This thing is just getting started. What are you going to do when the next wave hits and you have already done all your chores?

Captain Mark Revis HFD, just stopped by. He had one word for the chainsaw. Awesome.

On a different note - I just cut up a 25ft 8in round tree with my new 18vt Ryobi 12in chainsaw. That and the new Ryobi pole saw are beasts! Now back to the movie!

It’s the girth, not the height that matters.
