Interesting bit of history.

Cities that passed masking ordinances in the fall of 1918 struggled to enforce them among the small portion of people who rebelled. Common punishments were fines, prison sentences and having your name printed in the paper. In one horrific incident in San Francisco, a special officer for the board of health shot a man who refused to wear a mask as well as two bystanders.

It was a less than recent event.

Other way around nowadays, a mask enforcer was the one killed by somebody refusing to wear a mask.

Especially in San Francisco. I guess 1918 was too early for the hippies and Haight Ashbury.

Non mask wearer chased out of the grocery store by angry mob.

Funny thing about getting older:
Your eyesight starts getting weaker but your ability to
see through people's BS gets much better.

I haven’t worn a mask yet, except when running the wood lathe. I’m thinking of getting a Lone Ranger type mask, and wearing that to see what feedback I get.

Just made a little loop. Used mask on several curbs, drains, and gutters.
