Does anyone own a trash compactor still? I swear I’ll teach my family how to condense their trash before throwing it away, if it’s the last thing I do! Does ANYbody else do this? Gallon jugs, I squeeze flat and re cap. Lightweight cardboard like pop tart boxes, I tear up into smaller pcs. Etc Etc.

I take out a full friggin bag daily and it wears me out! Rant over

I have a compactor but never use it. I have trash pickup once per week. Never have more than a half tub full. You don't have near as much trash without wimmens.

The question isn’t about recycling. I have a recycle bin I put almost all my trash bags into since it’s all recyclable.

It’s the fact the trash can itself, the one in the kitchen, fills up so quick without breaking everything down first.

My wife will put a milk jug and detergent bottle in a fresh trash bag and it'll be 3/4 full. One of the few things that piss me off.

Anything bigger that a cracker box needs to go straight to the outside trash.

If we have big items they go straight to the trash can or recycle can smaller everyday stuff goes to the trash in kitchen. We have a large garbage can I take the garbage out maybe 1 or 2 times a week when it’s full. Maybe get a bigger can.

I hadn't been married long. A made a comment about my bride filling the trash can every night.

One the older and obviously wiser grey hair men, made the comment If she is putting it in the can, she not leaving it in house.

Never complained again.

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?
