Not recalling this to be negative but curious about your thoughts now almost two months later. Other than my frustration with Bill that day my fears for the country have not changed. I may still be off the deep end. Who knows.

I'm pretty sure we are on the same page. My point was my boy Bill was trying to be positive, and you went after him for it. Bill has been on this earth twice as long as I have. Has seen a lot of things we will never see, and with that comes wisdom. He knows this too will pass.

Express your frustration all you want, hell I'm felt it too. Like I said you and I are on the same page with this covid crap, but I'm not blasting someone for knowing it will get better.

I definitely popped a fuse with Bill that day. It had nothing to do with Bill actually, just people waiting on the government to help them.

Every time my wife is looking in the pantry for a snack, I usually say "I've got a cannoli." 28 years and she hasn't taken me up on it once.

The virus is real, so is cancer and many other maladies. This "pandemic" has disrupted nearly everyone, job wise, economically, health-wise.. I will obey social distancing, heck I separate myself from sick folks in public anyway. But it is time to get back to normalcy. For one our church has a progressive plan to reopen to full capacity over the next 2 months. I may be wrong in the end, but I believe that our President is doing the right thing to get things back opened up. He hasn't played the Federalism card, yet left this up to each states Governors to decide as he should have. State, County and Local public officials cannot legally enforce stay at home proclamations. States are required to follow the US Constitution, as evidenced by federal judges overturning numerous directives from local and state "authorities". I for one lost my job, couldn't be in the hospital when my granddaughter was born, had to put off "elective" knee replacement surgery, but I am thankful for what we have! I choose to live by Faith and not fear. Yall take care on this Memorial Day - many more of our brave soldiers have given their life for our freedom than this virus.
