I've never had a single disagreement with anybody, ever on Facebook, 'cause I never got on it. My grown kids have come full circle and hardly pay any attention to Facebook anymore.

Just to be clear, and not trying to stir the pot, but socialism is not what you mean here. We already have quite a few socialistic systems in the US with healthcare being a huge one, and public education being a close second. There are private sources of both those but they still are regulated by the govt and it’s entities.

You are speaking of more totalitarianism, or communism, where the govt controls everything from production to consumption of goods. In your example the goods could be considered the media as well (censorship). Your example is more in line with communist China.
