Your neck of the woods, summer doesn't start till 4th of July.
Can remember living in Wyoming Memorial Day weekend was either raining or snowing. Everyone was so over winter.

Not too worried about it, all things pass. Just funny when we try to explain that we have Winter and the 4th of July to people, or 9 months of winter and 3 months of mosquitos! I haven't seen a snake or fire ant tho.

It's headed our way too. No planting for me just yet, we wait til June every year and even then it snows after I plant.

Retirement plan: Wyoming from June 15 to December 31, Arizona from Jan 1 to March 1, then to the Texas coast until it's time for Wyoming again. Think I could qualify for resident in wy after the first six months?

"To qualify for any resident game and fish license, preference point, permit or tag, a person shall be domiciled and shall physically reside in Wyoming for one (1) full year (365 consecutive days) immediately preceding the date the person applies for or purchases the license, preference point, permit or tag and the person shall not have claimed residency elsewhere for any other purpose (including, but not limited to, voting, payment of income taxes, purchase of resident hunting, fishing or trapping licenses, etc.) during that one (1) year period."

You must reside in Wyoming for 12 months prior to being a resident and not claim residency in any other state.
We have lots of snow birds down in Arizona every year from Wyoming. They do allow for seasonal stays down south.

Really not a bad plan, little late for me in WY but probably be hunting south anyway so doesn’t matter.
