Last time I had five guys (not fast food) it was $15. screw that. for me it's either Braums or Burger Box. Both have crinkle cut fries.

Griff's is a solid burger. Been years since I've had one. There is one in north Garland Jupiter and Buckingham area if my memory serves me correctly.

If you lived on the Southside of San Antonio you know Griffs. It's a Southside institution.

Five Guys fries are great, but no drive-through and IMO their burgers trail many, many places including WB.
WB is usually the best FF burger but some locations can suck.
If we're talking sit-down, WB doesn't make my top 5 for sure.

Griff’s Hamburgers, or Griff's Burger Bar, is a regional fast food chain founded in 1960 by Griff's of America, Inc. of Kansas City, Missouri, United States. At one time they had locations nationwide with the majority in the South near highway exits.[1]
Griff's was named for the founder, Harold Griffin.[2]
The restaurant buildings were of a patented[3] A-frame design,[1] produced by Valentine Diner[4] of Wichita, Kansas. Later restaurants sported more conventional architecture. A bright yellow sign read HAMBURGERS in big block capitals.[5] The restaurants offered both drive-thrus and patio dining.[5]
Most of the stores were located in high traffic locations, such as near a highway off-ramp, or along Route 66.[5] There was one on the corner of Caruthers and Independence in Cape Girardeau, Missouri in the 1960s, catty corner from old Central High School.
Corporate headquarters for Griff's of America is now in Dallas, Texas, and stores remain open in Bossier City, Ruston and Shreveport, Louisiana; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Dallas, Fort Worth, Haltom City, Garland, Irving, Mesquite, and San Antonio, Texas.[1] A location in Sedalia, Missouri closed in late 2011, and locations in Colorado closed in 2015.[2][1]

Some Whataburger locations are fantastic and others just flat out suck. Willow Park, Clyde, Sulphur Springs and the one on 183 in Irving are all great. They keep the stores clean, friendly staff, food is always hot and fresh.

I’m Ok with Whataburger, and I like the fries and the spicey catsup, but their burger isn’t hall of fame good. And it’s the wife’s absolute favorite, which seems odd to me. Oh, well, it’s good to have a cheap date.

Im surprised none of all of yall even mentioned Culvers’ Butterburger. Would beat Wtf burger by a landslide. Their fried pork tenderloin samich, pot roast and fried fish outstanding as well.
