Anyone know of a solid option to hook up an electric water pump to an IBC tank? My lease has no water/power. I’ve solved power with a Honda generator....need to solve water. I want an option that’s pressurized with flow similar to a garden hose.

I’m looking for a solid, no-nonsense option that’ll last awhile (like the “Honda” option, but for water flow). Don’t want to build a tower if I don’t have to.

An RV water pump, runs on 12v. 1.2 to 5.5 GPM, up to around 55 psi.

Run an on demand pump off the Honda. Amazon has them for ~$80 bucks. Hose to the tank and hose to the trailer.

Edit: the price of the pump I’m thinking of got jacked up but I’m sure there are similar options for cheaper.

We use a marine battery, solar panel and the pump off of a atv sprayer tank from Tractor Supply. Hooked it up to a sink. Works like a charm.

This pump has pressure shut off and owe pressure tank. you can run it direct to generator since it’s 110v

RV pumps work great with a few tips

1.) Works better with decent head pressure (elevate tote)

2.) Ensure your suction side pipe is large enough

3.) Keep your pump close to cabin/sink/shower

Unless you just want to run the generator every time you want water, an RV water pump, deep cycle battery & a suitable solar panel for charging = water anytime without running generator.

this was my thought as well ... same idea my LO near Ozona has set up for their cabin. They have a tank that collects all the rain water from the roof under the back porch, 12vdc RV style pump to the hill to a holding tank, then gravity feed back to the cabin/shower house.
