I ran across a sale from Natchez Shooters Supply on Accurate Nitro 100 NF powder.

https://www.natchezss.com/accurate-nitro-100-nf-shotgun-powder-8-lbs.html

I have never shot this powder before, and I have not found any available locally to test a pound before I pull the trigger on two 8 pound kegs.

I know the powder is primarily a 7/8's ounce or 1 ounce powder in a 12 gauge which is not a problem to me, since I prefer shooting 3/4, 7/8, or 1 ounce loads to reduce recoil and to save money on shot costs.

Does anyone have any experience or suggestions specifically about the Nitro 100 NF powder?

I only use Green Dot, Blue Dot and HS6 for shotgun powders

I use those powders as well, but all three of them are better suited for loads in the 12 gauge for 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 ounces of shot, since they have a slower burn rate than Nitro 100 NF.

No experience with that one, used red dot, clays and international for my lighter 12ga loads. International became my favorite of those 3

TLoving, I can’t help either. I load a lot of 12 ga. But settled on loads I like the way shoot and very seldom change anything. Red Dot for 1 ounce loads. 700x for 1 1/8 ounce. Longshot for magnum hunting loads.

I went on and pulled the trigger on 16 pounds of the Accurate Nitro100 NF powder. Sometime over the summer I will end the current keg of Clays I am using, and then I will try the Nitro100.

I have used Accurate #9 in my pistols, and I really like #9 so I am sure that this will be a good powder as well.
