I love it grilled, with butter, blackening season, and fresh lemon juice. Outstanding!

Rather cover with wet paper towels and microwave

Butter. Always butter.

Husk on or off? Have always reheated steaks and other meats in microwave wrapped in wet paper towels.

I like it husk on whether it is the grill or directly on campfire coals up

Best Corn from Microwave:
1. DO NOT SHUCK CORN
2. Microwave on high for 3 min (2 pieces) or 4 minutes (4 pieces)
3. Cut the stalk end off up to 1/4 inch into the ear
4. Slide ear out; the husk and silk will slide right off.

Tonight I'm having sweet corn with my fried chicken rather than my regular smashed potatoes. I stopped by Walmart. They had it for 33¢ per ear. They will match prices but I didn't study about it. I noticed that slicer tomatoes were $1.98 per pound. I'm giving those suckers away. They were fully stocked in all departments. I returned my cart to the rack that was across the by giving it a push like it was a bowling ball. It rolled right in. This beautiful blond gave me one of these.
up

Two minutes in the microwave for each and I end up with this.

I gave it a shot Bill. Rubbed with olive oil and seasoned very well. Four minutes in and wrapped in foil for 15 minutes. Much easier than tending on the grill. Tasted great. Thanks for the heads up!!

That’s the way mom did it except she cut the stalk end off plus a 1/4” of cob and then wrapped in a wet paper towel. Once it’s microwaved, just squeeze the silk end and the cob pops out clean.
