Geez , the names sound like the beginning of a , well never mind.

I like Abendigo's, Grateful Head Pizza, and the Blue Rooster. The spicy fried chicken is really good at Blue Rooster. For lighter meals like sandwiches and such, The Takery is a family favorite.

Blue Rooster was good. Even the kids loved the fried green tomatoes.

^^THIS^^ Blue Rooster is not bad for something quick as long as they are not swamped.

Not a fan of Grateful Head, Blue Rooster or Shuck Me. None of them are consistent and mostly a miss for us.

Abendigos and Mountain Fork Brewery are our favorites. IMO Mountain Fork has the best beer and pizza in town.

Shuck me was not good, wont go back there.

That pace is terrible. Atmosphere is cool but the food is no bueno. Greatful head has gone way down hill since it changed ownership. 4 pizzas and a salad will cost you over $100 with tip, but just not worth it.
The takery is decent, the north fork brewery is good, some ok ish bbq, and Adam and eves for breakfast is decent. Honestly, the increase in food prices and the decline of quality have pushed us to cook more at the cabin than go out.
Side note, a decent Mexican restaurant and a food truck yard would do really well there.

I don't think decent Mexican food and the word Oklahoma can exist in the same realm.

He may own it - but it sucks. I've been to his location around here and it's not bad. His location up there started off pretty decent but for whatever reason the food went to [censored].

Just bring corn

Sweet corn isn’t even knee right now. Wouldn’t expect someone from Mobilehoma that buys that field corn at Whole Foods To understand that though.

A couple of you said Abendigo’s. We’re going to give it a go for supper. Might just be eating trout tomorrow if things don’t start looking up.

Goodluck. Keep in mind that "good" food up there is on par with "average" food in DFW. They do have a good moscow mule though - and their caesar salad is good. Everything else is average - but better than everywhere else.

You should go. They're about as easy as catching perch out of a pond most of the year.

It’s a beautiful place... and the “cabins” are great and priced right! But, I have never found any food up there worth a dern. I bring steaks and food from home every time I go.

Yeah super easy to catch a limit in an hour or so.

Yeah we are leaning that quickly.
