Don’t know much about this town, but I’ve enjoyed most of what I’ve seen. The view to the north is incredible. It truly is. Those mountains are breathtaking. I tried to get the best view I could for pictures, up close, with a pic or view to the south.

Man, absolutely. I meant to keep up with that, but you know what I’ve had going on. Seriously, let’s plan for that. It’s a big deal around here, and a hell of a hunt.

Spent the better part of 52 years on the lower edges of Mt Lemon (the major peak shown there) the range is:

Santa Catalina Mountains. like to remember being able to ride a hose from the east end of Tanque Verde Road up north to almost Mt Lemon, never crossing a fence line.

That does look familiar, but I’m not sure. Looks like some mountains near the house.

I’m headed home today. I’ll keep an eye out.

Sneaky,
If you don't mind, what are you doing in the Whetstones? We had a couple silver mines down there, we also had a touring company (Cowboyup Adventures) that did the majority of its business in Cochise county, traveled those out back roads a lot with loads of great memories. Things have really changed there since the early to mid 1960's.
