What mfg makes a solid travel trailer in the 26ft range? Looking at moving up from the Casita. Need a bit more room but sure liked the ease of towing and getting places in the Casita.

We have a Rockwood Ultra Lite and it has performed flawlessly for the past 4 years. It is longer than 26' but it has served us well.

I checked out the 2020 Airstream 26 ft. on the website, it was in the $95K range. I knew they were expensive but that's a lot. They sure looked nice though.

Tons of options out there. Just remember on the "Ultra Lights" or similar names, they have less structure to them to save on weight. Ill take a little heavier but sturdier built trailer, myself.

My aunt and uncle traveled the country for 20 plus years after retirement, and had a few travel trailers. He always said the best one they had was made by Carriage best I remember.

Airstream , buy once, cry once. 25' FB International Signature Yup. And you don't have to buy new. They have a vibrant used market where you can probably get a great deal. And honestly, I think a used AS will likely be in better shape than a used SOB (Some Other Brand) of same vintage.

Get something with welded aluminum framing walls, roof, floors with solid or sprayed insulation and a sealed underside to keep rodents out . You can check for aluminum framing in the door latch hole .

The “lite” series trailers have floors that are basically styrofoam with a thin pergo or hard floor laminated on top.

Northwood mfg, arctic fox north fork - has models from 22' to 32', three in 25' one in 28'. I could go on for several paragraphs of all the reasons, standard features many TT manufacturers don't offer as options. Compare the frame build, 'house' framing build and general specs, standard features & options. You will not find a better built TT anywhere even for triple the money. Even if you go with their lower grade models ( nash, fox mountain) they're still built far better than your typical popular name TT. They're built in Oregon not many dealers nearby with a decent selection on the lot, and because mostly a NW and mountain regions type usually spec'ed from factory with a 13,500 A/C unit. Best to upgrade from 13,500 to 15,000 or to dual A/C"s. 13,500 would most likely be sufficient for the 22'. 15,000 for 25', dual for 28' & 32'. Not a problem if you order from dealer or factory. ---> Northwood

Grand Design Imagine 2150RB. Look it up. We tow with a Tundra. Quality is up there with Airstream, but not the price. If you travel with more than 2 people, there are better options. The wife liked this model best because RB stands for rear bathroom. Lots of cabinet space.
