Follow up from mail order steaks from Taste of Texas. Whoop! You can’t buy steaks like that from the grocery store. Aged 40 days, melt in your mouth filet, NY strip was excellent also. Wife and I will end up getting 3 meals from steak.
Sorry, no pics.

Triple J's BBQ on Homestead just outside the loop. Easily the best in Houston, except Truth's brisket, and only the brisket . Everything else JJJ"S wins.
The best burger I think I've ever had came from Bellaire Broiler on Bellaire Blvd just outside the loop. And yes, I've been to all the places you are gonna name, this place beats em. The place looks like its stuck in 1970 on the inside and the out,but my god, that burger is to die for.

I do love the burger at the Bellaire Broiler.

And Pico’s for Mexican food. It’s on Bellaire also. Best in Houston, I think.

For Mexican, The Los Cucos off of Clay Road for the win! They have the best fried carnitas I have ever had, anywhere.

Taste of Texas on I-10 at the beltway. Best steak in town IMO.

Casa nueva was pretty good Mexican food last night.

No such thing as chicken strips, American cheeseburger or any of that crap on their menu.
