My beautiful wife requested some Avocado Toast for breakfast and Chicken and Shrimp Kabobs. Wanted to spruce up the kabobs so I threw some flat breads on the grill and got some Tzakziki Sauce. Turned out amazing, gonna put this in a regular rotation.

Looks great! I’ve got 4 racks of ribs and some jalapeno poppers about to go on the pit.

Serious question Kyle, how do you get the vegetables done without burning the shrimp? This is why I don’t make kabobs

The veggies were a tad on the raw side, but I actually like mine with a little bite to them. But the shrimp were a just a bit dry too. Told Amanda that if I did them again I’d be putting the chicken and veggies on their own skewer and the shrimp was going on their own so I could cook both to the correct temp. Would have taken the shrimp off probably 5-7 minutes before the chicken and veggies. Won’t look as presentable but will be better eating. Not that it was bad I’ve have worse shrimp and veggies at good restaurants before.

Serious question Kyle, how do you get the vegetables done without burning the shrimp? This is why I don’t make kabobs I'm with you here. I rarely make kabobs anymore but when I do, I put like timed items on the same skewer and try to time when I put them on so they all finish together. I've timed it wrong more times than I've timed it right. When I do shrimp it seems like they stick to the grill and/or spin on the skewer when I try to roll them, but that's probably because we have some metal skewers, not the wooden ones.
