has anyone planted it?

Will it grow fast enough to keep cows from mowing it down? Mostling thinking of as a cover crop.

How invasive is it? Last thing I would want was something that grew uncontrollable.

Dogcatcher Sun Hemp is a warm season legume. I don't think you need to worry about it producing seed in Texas.

The mix that I planted does have Sunn Hemp in it. ELKMTB did you plant a mono stand or a mix?

Planning on a mix of 50# soybeans, 10# sunn hemp, and 10# buckwheat in my summer plots this year. Hoping the soil warms enough to get some good growth once I plant. No plans to plant until probably early June. Located in southern OK

I have not planted yet. I was thinking it might grow tall enough to survive the cows and be a cover crop or bedding area.
