We are in NW Burnet on the river and sometimes see herds of 30+. I have shot 2-3 at a time with my Remington 30-06 auto. Whether or not I shoot them on site depends on what I am hunting for. If I am buck hunting or need a doe I pass. Sometimes to come to feeder but a lot of times just passing through. I think they are smarter and have better eyesight than whitetails. If you like mutton eat the young ones. We just feed to coyotes. Bigger rams will make a good euro mount.
