Best red dot sight. To be mounted on a 9mm AR style pistol. (Foxtrot Mike) for less than $300.00. Thanks ahead of time.

Holosun 510c is the answer. Or the 403HR I think is the model.

Less than $300 probably the Holosun or find an Aimpoint Pro for around $325 used.

I currently own: Aimpoint PRO, 2 Romeo5, 2 HE407C-GR, 2 TRS-25, and a 1x Spitfire.

If cost is a concern, the 2 Romeo5 have been flawless for me. I have one on a 10/22TD and the other on a Ruger PCC. I have owned the Aimpoint PRO the longest by far and it has never let me down. I change the battery once a year and it just works. I am really liking the Holosun optics. I have had no problems and I appreciate the circle-dot. I wouldn't buy another TRS-25 based on battery life alone. I don't like turning my optics off. The Spitfire is kind of unique in that it has an etched reticle that does not need illumination. It is, however, able to be illuminated.

Okstatefan do you have the 407 or 507? I just did a ton of research and went with the 407 and from what I could find was the difference in the 407 and the 507 was that the 507 had the donut dot reticle and 3 reticle switchable where as the 407 is dot only.

The 407 also doesn’t have solar backup I think. Or that might be a lower model too.

My mistake and very sorry for any confusion. I actually have two HE507C-GR. Below is the link from my order history. Again, I did not mean to give bad information, I just had forgotten what I actually had.

No problem, was just making sure. Also the 407 V2 does have the solar backup.
