Buddy got lucky and got two big axis on our 50 acre honey hole. One on the right went 33 and the left was 30. Still a bunch of good ones there and one more that’s really big that didn’t show up tonight. One on the right had the biggest body I have ever seen on an axis deer

Both are bruisers. Congratulations to the hunter!

What a hunt! Did he shoot them out of the same blind in the same hunt?

Yes same blind same hunt. This low fence small place has some great axis. It is the best honey hole we have found. We have taken 5 axis so far 30" and over with a lot more around there. 3 whitetail in the 150-170 range. Has taken a few years of lots of feed and selective shooting but its paying off. No one in the area hunts so it makes it easy to let deer go
