Got his first in 2018 and had an 11.5” beard, this one was 11” with 1 1/8” spurs, weighed 19 pounds.

He shot him with is .243. He’s shot a shotgun but prefers his rifle. We sat the decoys out about 35 yards and he shot him at about 40. That close the bullet doesn’t damage much meat at all.

Yeah, I told him, son I’m 43 years old I’ve probably killed 20 gobblers and my biggest is 10.5”.
