Depends...
I have 3 gas and 3 diesel machines, 3 migs - 1 with gas for delicate stuff and 2 flux core, one in 120 and other in 240, a 240 AC/DC stick welder and my old original crackerbox my Dad bought for me in 1968 and started all of this madness!
The 240 mig flux core is my goto machine most of the time because it's setup on a cart and can be wheeled around shop with 100 foot heavy extension cord.
All of the machines are Lincoln except 2 of the diesels that are Miller Bobcats.
The gas and diesel machines generally live on jobsites except the ShortHood, it stays in shop when not being used.

That being said, this is my favorite new welding toy.
Best fitting, most comfortable, fastest darkening and lightening, clearest hood I have ever used in 50+ years of welding.

I also use this pancake quite a bit in tight places.

I’m old fashion and still use stick. Son used wire in high school ag mech on there projects. Have both stick and wire welder in the shop. Need to play with the wire welder one of these days. Depends on the project, either I use stick if possible, or have son come do it with wire, so pretty well covered.

I have both stick and wire feed. I can burn a rod or some wire and gas and make metal stick to metal but I'll never call myself a welder.
