I am thinking about getting one of these for a truck gun. I have done online and looked at reviews and for the most part the reviews are good. However there are a srinkling of reviews saying they had bad accuracy and some feeding issues. I am wondering if any of the members here have any first hand experience with them? I want to be sure it would be worth the asking price or if I'd be better off keeping my current truck gun which is a Rossi takedown 22 pump with a 16 inch barrel. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If you just use the open sights that are on the barrel, you will be okay. If you use a scope on the receiver, and take the barrel on and off, good luck keeping it sighted in. That was my experience with it.

it is a good gun at 50 yards with a scope and good ammo it will have about five shot hole about the size of a quarter, i usually have about a inch and a half to two inch shift when i change mags but usually able to get it back on with one or two shots. I can never figure out why but i can remove the barrel and it will stay pretty much on, poi only changes when i change mags.

I too have a hard time keeping it sighted in if you use a scope or RDS on the receiver. There is an aftermarket mounting bracket that goes over the rear sight for an RDS I am contemplating purchasing. That should take care of inconsistent POI issues.

Get a Ruger Charger and add a folding brace. I replaced the 10 inch barrel with a 4.5 inch threaded from WhistlePig Gun Barrels. Mounted a cheap red dot. easily stays in a backpack probably will fit in my center console.
