We’ve been seeing this little fox in the yard. Cute little guy/gal. I think it lives under the guest house. This is the first time I could get a good daylight photo. He was under the yard feeder and appeared to be eating corn. qui [Linked Image]

It is cool to have a yard fox, they are interesting to watch.
We had a regular fox at the feeder behind the shop. He was familiar with us and would come to within 50 yards without any worry. One day he ran up the mulberry tree by my window, I never did figure out if he was after the berries or the birds. I was amazed at his climbing skills.
Another time I threw a loaf of old bread under the feeder to see what would eat it. We watched that fox go back and forth getting a slice of bread each trip till it was gone. I am guessing that he was stuffing it in a hole somewhere.

We live just outside the city center in NB, a little past Landa Park. There is a canyon behind our home and we get to see these lil' guys quite often. Most often see them while driving to work early every morning. Neat, fascinating creatures.

Used to live in Ft. Collins, CO and at a local golf course in town, a family was being reared. It was very fun to watch them grow and develop and finally move on. You could get to within bout 40-50 yards of the den and the little ones would dive in the hole. Would see the mom or dad hunting along the tracks adjacent to the course and sometimes out in the course. They finally moved on.

I've only seen one fox in my life. I'm obviously living wrong. Cool pictures, guys.

Beautiful little animals that would be neat to have around, keep the mice/rats and squirrel population down up

I have a family that lives out in the back along the creek. They like to come up when the peaches & plums are ready, they will sit under the tree and wait for them to fall.

We have several in our central Lubbock neighborhood. They climb the liveoaks in my yard and run across our roof at night. (mods feel free to re-size that).

Had 3 little ones behind the house last year, Mom fox did good with them. Still get pics of them behind the house witht he trail camera. Also have pics of a red fox some and a coyote all within 50 yards of the back door.
