Just sitting here watching the 5:30 news and looked out and down the pasture at my deer feeder. A mama and piglets were chowing down. I grabbed the .270 and stepped out, got a good rest behind an oak. I was waiting...hoping for a twofer but she started moving off and I hurried my shot. She stumbled but ran off into the briars and brush. I am thinking I got her high...probably thru the lungs. There was plenty off blood/meat and a good blood trail. I don't care to fight the mosquitos and briars, So, will just leave her for the buzzards and coyotes.

They must be hunger to be coming out this early.

One more this morning. This one went down in her tracks.

At my place the hogs come in at all times of the day and night. Got them on camera 3 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon...

Now you don't have to deal with dragging her off. Double bonus!

Man will occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of the time he will pick himself up and continue on.
