Checked the trap today. Most of the corn gone. Trap was tripped. No pigs. Combine that info with what the UPS delivery guy just said - he saw probably 40 small pigs on the road in an area near the trap. Could the trap been so full of pigs that the door couldn’t close? If so, could they all have gotten out? Seems unlikely, but...

I’ve shot 4 in the last week. It seems I am NOT getting ahead of the game.

Also worth mention...the UPS guy said he ran over one the other day. We asked if it hurt his truck. Naw, he said, I aim at the hogs. It’s not MY truck. It seems that we are all in this together.

'Shot 5 this morning and I feel the same way, but..."We shall NEVER surrender!"

Mine was tripped yesterday. Still plenty of corn....I am thinking a coon is my guilty party. Might be time to bring out the small trap and cat food.

Most likely unless your trap only has 4x4 or smaller openings.

I’ve had them get out of 4”x4” square wire (all sides) box traps before. This one was stuck in trap over 8 hours and he somehow squished through the side when I pulled up running traps that morning. I wouldn’t believe you if you told me had I not seen it in person.

Our neighbors put a trap on our east fence line. We were at our tank about 40 yards away, heard all kinds of racket and s big so was raising the gate on the trap. Let the other ones out.
