Producers will shut the pumps down as fast as they can. Not sure but they will let a few (very few) continue to pump so that lease agreement remains in effect.

Other oil markets are ok that tells me that all storage for WTI crude is full.

With very limited travel during the virus problem, the stockpile of crude and refined gas should be maxed out. Storage is limited.

Don't remember if it was on this forum or somewhere else but I predicted 2 weeks ago they were going to pay you to take their oil. Wasn't hard to see it coming with demand so low, production still strong and full tankers floating around with no place to deliver. At some point storage cost becomes greater than the value of the product. That's where we are today.

All that oil and no where to put it. Futures don't want to be unloaded on and are scrambling because there are no buyers.
1/3 of the world has shut down completely and the demand has slowed WAY down but yet someone forgot to turn off the pumps.
