I’ve got a code coming up that can be solved with a delete I’m told. I’m way over my warranty and been wanting to do this for a while but don’t really know where I can get it done close to where I work. Can I get some ideas for mechanics in the Wylie area?

Not many guys in Wylie anymore. Third coast diesel in Mckinney did two for me.

Not many guys in Wylie anymore. Third coast diesel in Mckinney did two for me. I second this! David did mine 2 years ago and I’m completely satisfied.

I've heard its a little harder to get the parts nowadays. Is that correct.

Order the stuff and do it yourself
ETA: it’s not hard to do. Factory rounded off bolts kept me from doing mine, and the fact I wanted to maintain the factory tune without the use of a tuner. 3rd Coast Diesel programmed the truck as needed and I don’t have to keep up with any tuner. I had a bad experience with Spartan tuners back in 2010 not recognizing my truck and using up all the VIN codes and leaving the truck disabled.

But I didn’t use a spartan tuner.
