I’ve done fully guided hunts and I’ve done DIY public land hunts. This fall I’m looking for something in between. Anything out there available? I would love to get access to some private land where opportunity is better than what I’ve encountered with public land. Some form of lodging would be nice but not necessary. We can cook for ourselves, skin out and pack meat for ourselves. Local knowledge and suggestions on where to hunt would be great. Does anything like that exist? 2-4 hunters. Please PM me if you have something like that or if you know of an opportunity like that. Thanks!

I don't know anything about them but there are some private land elk hunting opportunities on Wyoming Craigslist. They are private land in NW Colorado so maybe easy to draw areas .
Go to sporting for sale and they are listed.
Some have cabins available to stay in as well.

Lots of outfitters do what is called drop hunts. They pack you into an established camp on horseback and you hunt on your own. The outfitters comes in to check on you once ot twice and packs out any game you take and then when the hunt is over packs you back out. I don't know what the going rate is for such a hunt but it may be worth checking into. But you should do it quick because like all hunts run through outfitters, there are limited spots available.
