 Found a rib roast for $23 for Easter dinner.

Since we couldn’t all get together for Easter Sunday we planned on smoking a pork butt. I ran to Kroger this morning and found a 5 pound prime rib for $23! That changed our dinner pretty quick. Whipped up some glazed carrots, roasted squash, puréed potatoes, and Mac and cheese. My favorite. Can't cook them for just one. Do you ever put horseradish on there?

My favorite. Can't cook them for just one. Do you ever put horseradish on there? I do occasionally. My wife and son don’t care for it, so I usually don’t when I eat it at home.

Everything looks great. Prime Rib is a little to done for my taste but sure gnaw on it.

Everything looks great. Prime Rib is a little to done for my taste but sure gnaw on it. I agree. Wife doesn’t like it cooked any less, so I had to compromise and shoot for medium.

Next time cook it rare and sizzle her slice in a skillet to ruin it for her.  I argued with a chef over this. I ordered a rare prime rib, he said all they had was medium-rare, that’s fine. It came out cooked on all sides. I sent it back. This happened 2 times before the chef came out. He said that’s how we cook them, I told him it would actually be rare if he hadn’t ruined it by searing it. I ate chicken for that meal
