If you are only looking at Autotrader's Dodge prices then read the real fine print, make the call to a dealer. The price is not the price you get with most of the dealers. The last time I got in a phone campaign with a Dodge dealership I would have had to have bought a New Holland tractor in the past year, been a veteran, been a member of some farmer's organization, finance the truck, one or two other hoops to jump through for that price. I didn't fit any of that criteria. I think I could have financed it and immediately paid it off to beat that hoop, but decided against that. I was afraid of the pages of fine print.
I was about to buy one anyway in Greenville. I decided to keep the Dodge I have and buy a new Jeep instead for showing real estate. That's not just Dodge. I had a Ford dealership do the same thing to me several years ago. They had an ad with the price for a new truck so I went to look at them (no fine print in the ad). Two minutes into the negotiation the price jumped $4,500 because I wasn't trading a vehicle in and I wasn't financing it through Ford. Those things were incentives that were figured into the price and not published. I ended up telling them what they could do with their truck and their ad and seriously considered contacting the AG.

now drive a 2019 Ram 1500 Lone Star with 4x4 Off Road package, oh and it's a supercharged 5.7L with 500+ HP, torque at the read wheels.
Holy shanizzles that is nice Chad! Unfortunately, I would burn through tires and get a lot of tickets with that much power. I have not bought a new truck since 2001 (F-250 7.3 crew 4x4) and it's only got 140k on it so won't be buying anything for awhile. That said, if I was in the market I would consider a Dodge (threw up in my mouth just a little), Ford or Toyota. I've had 3 GM trucks/SUVs including a 2008 Escalade and had problems with all of them. I really like the new Dodge Ram trucks. Chad, who did your engine work? Buzz, True Street in McKinney did the Whipple super charger install. They are awesome! Tell Clint I sent you, if you call them. When he tuned it, it was about 95 degrees that day and dyno'd at 435 HP at the rear wheels. In cooler weather, he said it gains about 50-60 HP, which I would certainly agree. I'm running 6.7 lbs of boost. The stock Hemi can only handle about up to 7 lbs of boost. The Whipple is capable of 21 lbs of boost, so I'm only using about 1/3 of the unit. The truck is lightening fast. I've ridden in many sports cars and this truck will hang with or out run many of them. If I'm going less than about 50-55 mph, I have to be careful about getting on the gas too hard as I'll lose the rear end (when traction control is off). It will break loose in the first 3 gears easily. Getting to 100 mph is scary fast. With the off road tires I run, the fastest I've taken it was 108, and that was on Hwy 130 around Austin. I have owned five Dodge trucks (three gas and two diesel) since 1997 and not a single one left me stranded on the side of the road.
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

5 diesels here are all solid and have 60,000 on my current Logged over 600,000 diesel miles in my lifetime.
7 reg gas pickups not including my wife's 6 Fords in 28 years of marriage. ( cannot recall all of the the miles, but a lot).
All my Ford's have been solid. Never had a reason to look at any other brand. I am a proud Ford owner and very brand loyal.
But again, buy what you like.

And the 4x4 Off Road package is the best 4x4 out there. Ehhh Ford Raptor might have something to say about that one...

Ford guy here so no help. I can say my son bought a Ram 1500 and the engine failed at 135K miles. My Dodge only made it to 42k. Just out of warranty. Never again for me.

You get what you pay for. Yep, plus Dodge trucks are fugly. And they all have their tow mirrors out. LOL yep. Not sure why they even put tow mirrors on Dodge trucks, ain't like that junk can pull anything anyway. Yeah, what's the deal with three foot mirrors on each side?

Close friend of mine bought a dodge he pick up new 3 years ago, and had engine replaced under warranty 28K, now wants to trade out of it because of a ticking sound. 65K now.

There's not really a truck I don't like. Buy what makes you happy if for no other reason.

You just said that the 4x4 package was best 4x4 out there. Then someone said nope that belongs to the raptor. Then you said something nobody owns is called a raptor killer. Thusly the raptor is the best on the market.

Gmc and Chevy are junk. Fords are good. They ride and drive like a luxury car. You have to take it easy on the thin aluminum beds. Ram trucks are all bidness trucks. Run good, do the work, and last forever. IMHO. Why do only gmc and Chevy use real people? What do you mean by real people?

Don't worry, Ford will have an answer and beat Dodge like it always does. The Rebel has been riding on the coat tail of the Raptor since it came out. Raptor will be coming with the 5.2L SC engine from the GT500 pushing over 700HP. Reminds me of the Viper truck vs the Ford Lightning. Way more HP than the Lightning, but the lightning was a true street truck vs the oversized heavy Viper truck that, from most accounts, was like driving a boat.

Thusly the raptor is the best on the market. Ram's current 4x4 off road package is the best out there. It has true positrack on all 4 wheels when you find the tell tell "go go" button and take off the ESP.
