Everyone knows Beyond Thunderdome is the authority on post apocalyptic society.

Really though, I think “The Road” has it about right.

The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

We'll let warriors shoot it out and pick up what's left.

I would argue, the real warriors are probably the ones chilling on the couch with a glass of bourbon while errbody else is losing their mind

Survive, maybe. Might even help someone else to make it through. People survived gunshot wounds in the wild west with less.

Probably. You know the Lord will keep his disciples as low key as possible. Because how else can you test a man's faith in the apocalypse?

My bug out gear consists of a 12.5" BCM 5.56 build with a Vortex Viper PST Gen II 1-6x24 scope (good for CQB and small game hunting). Also have a Badlands Superday packed with enough supplies to take care of my family of 3 for several days if need be. The ultimate plan just being to head up to the family lake house nestled in the Ozarks and wait out whatever is going on. Oh and I'll always carry a Glock 9mm of some kind
