Looking good. I did a forced patina a few months ago with a random pattern of mustard and spritzed it with white vinegar.

White Falcon, Is the Mustard Etching a permanent change or does it wear off over a period of time? Thanks Daniel

I think it will wear off. Not sure!

Forced patinas are typically very durable in normal use. You can buff it out if you don't like it and start over too.

Looks great, I love the forced patina look. I’ve been doing mine with the cold blue/bleach method for years.

Simple, just squeeze mustard on blade in the design you want. Th etch happens on either side if the mustard line! You can also put blade in a potato for a day and it will put a patina on the whole blade.

Thanks. Have some old camp knives to use as test models. Great experiment for my semi-solitary existence.
