 Hunting around Santa Anna/bangs ?????

Hey guys I have a question I found out about some property that’s in my family I never knew about. It’s 140 acres in between Santa Anna and Bangs.
Full of oaks/mesquites with 1 large pond in the center. No one has hunted on it for a good 25 years.
What is that area like deer population ?
Just curious if it’s worth setting up something for this coming year.

There will be deer there. In that area a rare trophy is possible but the freezer fillers will keep you in food. You will also have hogs.
Combat Infantryman, the ultimate hunter where the prey shoots back.

It will be worth setting up a stand. I’d be excited about the dove hunting. I had a girlfriend in college from Santa Anna. I killed some decent deer but the opening weekend hunt during dove season was great. They had a huge party, but back then I killed a limit of dove in Angelo every evening.
