Before the whole virus thing popped up I went to the gym nearly everyday to stay in hunting shape. Can't do that now so I make sure I do a 5 mile walk everyday along some rarely used roads. Today I was about a quarter of the way into the walk and I happened to look down and see this cute little think sunning in the gravel next to the road. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/xGgLuU8.jpg) Been a long time since I have seen a horned toad. Had to get a pic of it and then sent it on its way to do whatever important things a horned toad has to do during the day. Sometimes you just have to stop and take some pleasure from the little things you see. Cheers Y'all

I believe that they are endangered now. If so you just made your whole area developable.

I haven't seen one in decades. They were great game when I was a kid, finding, stalking and catching them. Waaaaay better than video games! Of course back then Pong was the only video game I knew of, and it was pretty cool.

I love those little lizards. It's been a long time but I did see one recently. When I was a kid I loved catching them. I had a cardboard box in the house with 1" of sand in the bottom.I fashioned a piece of screen wire for a lid. I liked feeding them & watch them bury themselves in the sand. One day they got loose in the house & my mom was surprised by one running across the kitchen floor. She was a cool mom & convinced me that the horny toads would have a much better life going back to nature!
