I can't find the minimum velocity for good expansion with this round. It's basically a 120 tsx but I'm sure it's hollowed out more to expand at lower velocities. Cause normal tsx limit is 1800 which isnt much less than this rounds muzzle velocity. Anyone have any experience with this round or similar?

Which bullet is it, specifically? And what is your barrel length?

They describe it as a solid copper HP not sure exact bullet though, I don't think they make bullets, so maybe it's tsx. It's 8" with 1:7 twist. From what I read they use fast burning magnum pistol powder, seems like a good idea to me but I don't reload.

Ok. Who's ammo is it then? Picture of the bullet? Any other info? The blk out is commonly loaded with a magnum pistol powder.

I haven't had good luck with all copper and low velocity. The barnes bullets work best in a 16" barrel to get some good expansion.
