If you use it, it will have you turkey necking on the stock. (Turkey necking= when your scope is mounted so high that your neck is on the stock and your head is high above the stock.)

Yes, Yes, sir...I have. Like Chad stated, it will be awkward.

However, you will want to fashion up a riser. You can buy new stock to accomplish such a task, or you can make your own, with such simple products like cardboard and duct tape. It won't be pretty, but it will be more comfortable to use.

yeah, 1-piece mounts intended for AR' are like using a "high" or "extra high" ring, so Id say sell it. you could sell it and get a pretty good set of rings with no money out of pocket

bang

Buzz, stop handing out opinions or advice.

You don't know "sick-em" from "come here."

ARs on bolt actions are way too high. Bolt action rings on ARs are way too low. People that actually shoot rifles know this.

I would not use it on a bolt gun. Too high.

They do make 1 piece base and rings for bolt rifles that replace the pic rail. Wheeler, DNZ, Talley and Nightforce all have those types of mounts.

I've used the DNZ. I really like them.
