I’ve completely blown my budget on another ar that I told myself would be a cheap beater. Well when I spent more on the lower than I intended on the entire gun now I Have to sacrifice on optics for now. With that being said what’s best value under say 200 for red dots? Leaning towards holosun but I’m open to other ideas. It’s on a pistol or I’d go with a scope.

I have 2 Sightmarks. 1 on a 223 Wylde and 1 on a 6.8 SPC. Both have been on the rifles for 6-7 years. Never failed and always dead on.

Heard good things about Sig Romeo, Holson, and if you want to go cheaper the Bushnells. I have 2 Bushnells (AR and pistol) and they have been fine! Buy from Amazon or straight from manufacturer and not Ebay IMO. Never know what you will be getting from Ebay.

I was looking at a Sig Romeo 5. I here nothing bad about them. I do have a quick release Aimpoint mount so I was considering a Vortex Strikefire also.

I’ve been really pleased with the Holosun 403R. Has a turn dial for brightness and fits on any Aimpoint micro mount. They advertise it as having a 50k hour battery life also
