Mature Tom with a 10” or so beard. Congratulations young fella. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again there is no more fun hunt than to take a youngster turkey hunting! You are so right! Can’t beat a good turkey hunt! And yes right at 10” beard and spurs just a hair over an inch.

Just a shame he couldn’t get more of the load on the turkeys head!!! Lol. Looks like the bird put his head in the barrel! Great job young man, that’s a great bird and a great shot.

Congrats on a fine gobbler! Hunted in central Texas where there was a lot of rain. Guess that kept the birds down in our area.

Just a shame he couldn’t get more of the load on the turkeys head!!! Lol. Looks like the bird put his head in the barrel! Great job young man, that’s a great bird and a great shot. There’s a story lol!! Let’s just say he took 3 shots, most to the head!! He was a tough booger!
